At OceanIQ, our team's passion for success and their intrinsic knowledge of the ocean floor is at the heart of what we do.
Gail began working with Global Marine Group as part of the marketing team from 1996 to 2001. Following several years working in other sectors including professional services, retail and manufacturing in both large corporations and small start-ups, she returned to Global Marine Group in 2014 heading up marketing activities across the Group.
With the formation of OceanIQ® in 2020, Gail has assumed the role of Managing Director, taking to market the company’s rich wealth of subsea data and route engineering consultancy services.
Gail completed a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree, subsequently completing a postgraduate diploma in Marketing.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Permitting, Charting, SEA Data records management and GIS, Brian manages a proactive and dedicated team that supports projects across multiple markets. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Brian has gained a wealth of knowledge working on numerous marine projects around the world.
Brian recently developed OceanIQ’s ‘Cable Fault Heat Map’ and ‘Cable Fault Prediction Report’ tools, utilising data from over 6,000 historical cable repairs enabling customers to understand the potential pitfalls that may impact their projects.
Stuart leads the Route Engineering team, and his role involves the production of desk based cable route studies and the commissioning and management of marine route surveys. Stuart has managed projects including trans-Pacific, Atlantic and large regional cable route studies, post route survey engineering for several telecoms cables, and offshore wind farm export and array cable routes.
Recent examples are the inter array cable route and boulder clearance analysis at the Danish Kriegers Flak Wind farm, cable landing assessment and route engineering for the Guernsey-France HVDC interconnector and the desk top study, including five landing option site visits in Shandong and Liaoning in China, for a fibre optic cable installation.
Jayne joined the Global Marine Group in July 2021 and is responsible for all of OceanIQ’s tendering activity from initial enquiries through to contract award. She also provides ongoing commercial support to the wider team.
She has 20+ years of sales and commercial experience from a range of tendering and business development roles in the subsea oil and gas, and renewables industries.
Jayne completed an MA (Hons) degree and also has a postgraduate diploma in Business Management.
Chloe joined the Global Marine Group in April 2021. As Permitting Manager, she is primarily responsible for managing the permits, consents, licenses and authorisations associated for cable installation and maintenance vessels worldwide. This also involves emergency consenting and permitting of submarine cable repairs within the Atlantic Cable Maintenance Agreement (ACMA).
Chloe regularly liaises with agents and port authorities across the globe to gather quotations, indicative costs and permitting regulations for a vessel to operate within a countries specific maritime boundaries. She also works with the Technical and Regulatory Subgroup (TRSG) executive committee to represent, raise issues and provide technical and operational guidance to support the subsea cable industry through the European Subsea Cables Association (ESCA).
Matthew is responsible for the production of Desk Top Studies, the commissioning and management of marine route surveys and the production and review of cable burial assessments. He has worked on projects including regional cable systems in Europe, Australasia, the Middle East and Asia as well as developments to trans-Atlantic cables.
Juliane joined Global Marine Group in 2010. In her role as Senior Charting/GIS Officer, she is responsible for providing project specific charting and GIS support, supporting all aspects of our records management service and managing the GeoCable® software and data products.
Prior to joining the company, Juliane has worked in a variety of fields, including construction, EOD, ordnance survey and telecommunication where she focused on all aspects of data management, photogrammetry and geographic information systems. A native of Germany, Juliane graduated from Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin in surveying.
